i'm cromb, but most know me as sulo! i'm a multifandom (splatoon/D&D/vocaloid) + OC artist, with a love for literature and history.my dream is to be a professional concept artist, illustrator or animator! all work i make goes towards that dream, thanks for your support :3

these are my terms of service! before dming me, read through all of it. time is money. commissioning me, the illustrator, means you agree to the following terms and conditions:✦ my commissions are currently via bank transfer. i do not offer refunds.✦ i reserve the right to decline a commission before payment without explanation, and the right to cancel a commission without explanation. i will however, only cancel a paid commission in the case where: 1. the client has violated my tos
2. i no longer wish to be associated with the client
3. the state of my health requires me to suspend commission work
4. the client wishes to cancel the commissionin cases 2, 3 and 4, i will usually allow for the client to keep and use work i have completed up to that point✦ discriminatory requests promoting hate speech and/or bigotry will not be tolerated. commissions will be denied, and the client may be blacklisted✦ i take the work at my own pace, unless a deadline is specified✦ additional fees will be required in the case of late-stage changes and negotiation of commercial usage or illustrator’s rights. it is inconvenient to make large changes when i’m in the final stages of a piece.

✦ the characters are owned by the client, the work is still mine – i own rights to the work, but i don’t own your character.✦ i reserve the right to use my work (which includes WIP check-ins and other preliminary materials), in my social media and portfolios. * i tag/name my clients by default, but if you wish to remain anonymous please tell me. i will double check if it’s okay to tag/name you before i post the work. NSFW/18+ accounts will not be tagged. * if you do not wish for me to post WIP check-ins, or the completed work, an additional fee must be paid.✦ the client cannot sell merchandise, or commercialise my work unless it is specified in our work agreement. failure to agree will result in blacklisting, and cancellation of commission completion✦ i reserve the option to commercialise commissions of fanart/public domain characters. i will not sell merchandise featuring original characters, unless given explicit permission by the character’s owner(s). * this includes OCs who are based off of a fandom (e.g, if your OC is a character in the splatoon universe, i will not use it for my own merchandise unless i get permission from you.✦ commissioned works may be uploaded to the client’s platforms and websites, as long as proper credit (links or @) is clear and visible. failure to comply will result in platform-based reports and/or DCMA claims filed against them.✦ commissioned works may be used by the client as an icon, header/banner, wallpapers, or any form of personal customisation. they may not be used by people who are not the client, and will have platform based-reports/DCMA claims filed against them.✦ editing commissioned works is not permitted, but cropping for use as icons, headers, etc is okay! if you wish to edit the commission for personal use (e.g. adding decorations, using a twitter ribbon function, etc) please confirm with me first✦ commissioned works are forbidden from being used as non fungible tokens (NFTs), or in AI datasets

✦ have these ready upon request: * image or character reference sheet
* short description of the character (nothing too long – if you can’t give me one, don’t worry, it just means i’ll ask a few more questions)
* a description of the pose/vibe you want for the commission✦ when i have confirmed the concept and the work you want, i will request you to sign a confirmation of assignment document. this is a document that i will share with your email that you will sign as a confirmed agreement to my terms and conditions, but also to the agreements of the commission. i will walk you through each section :)✦ once the agreement is signed by you, you have up to 48 hours to send me payment. i will remind you twice if necessary. i will not start without upfront payment.✦ when the work has been completed, i will let you know and email the file(s) to you. you may then use it in accordance with my ToS :)
